In the summer, there are more frequent activities out in the community such as cooking classes at 2nd Harvest, trips to Mobius, bowling, etc. Check the events tab on our website to see what’s being offered now!
Business Opportunity School for Success (BOSS)
This program is provided every summer in partnership with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). Through the program, they create, market and sell products at local farmers markets to experience a glimpse of running a small business.
FAQ
Do I have to be eligible for government services to access these programs?
Not necessarily. You of course need DDA eligibility for DDA waiver services, but we welcome folks to our social activities and Adulting 101 sessions with or without that eligibility. We want to support as many folks with IDD as we can!
What ages can participate in these programs?
TYAP programs are designed for folks between 14-30 years old, but if you fall outside of that and really want to join one of our events, just reach out!
