Who does The Arc help?

In Spokane County there are about 6,600 people who have a developmenal disability such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome or some other condition.  The Arc's mission is to make life better for these people and the family members who care for them.  Since every person has two parents, the number of people directly affected by a family member with a developmental disability is at least 19,800.  These people are our constituents.
